Become A Referee!

There are 3 referee clinics in the Youngstown area over the next 2 months. March 1, 2025 in Cortland (Farmer Jim's), March 22, 2025 in Boardman and March 30, 2025 in Salem. Becoming a licensed referee requires an on-line portion as well as one of the in-person field training sessions. Referee candidates must be 13 years or older. Process is this:

4. Courses

5. First Time Referees

6. Go to Course list - Ensure that Ohio North is selected

From there the referee candidates can choose which in-person field training session they are able to attend.

For additional courses, please visit the Ohio North State Referee Committee website (for Toledo/Cleveland/Youngstown areas) or the Ohio South State Referee Committee website (Columbus/Dayton/Cincinnati areas).

NYSL is a Recreational Spring soccer league designed to teach youths ages 3 to 15 the Laws of the Game, sportsmanship, soccer etiquette, and most importantly to have fun.

NYSL also supports Fall Competitive Soccer, look for information.
